The Oklahoma Trailblazer Award is Mewbourne College’s highest honor. The annual award honors an exceptional individual in the energy industry who blazes a trail for others to follow. It is the Oklahoma Trailblazer honorees who have courageously pioneered operational or scientific practices, procedures, and developments for the energy industry, enhancing the quality of life for the citizens of Oklahoma, the nation and the world.

Our 2021 awardee, Harold Hamm, is the wealthiest Oklahoman. We proposed honoring Mr. Hamm’s profound impact on the energy industry and the people of Oklahoma with a formal gala that spoke to his achievements, all while hearkening back to the state he loves. The event garnered over 200 attendees.

My Contributions

As the marketing and events intern for Mewbourne College, I helped rebrand the event with an updated logo and overall image. I helped design the event program, wayfinding banners, invitation suite and other event collateral.
