Chickasaw Nation on Pinterest

Overview

The launch of the Chickasaw Nation’s Pinterest account was about more than just creating a new social media presence. It was about building a platform for inspiration, connection and cultural pride. As part of the launch team, I helped write the proposal, develop initial content and craft a strategy that generated 3.4k monthly visits in its early stages.

Pinterest provided the perfect space to share picturesque and people-focused content, showcasing the Chickasaw Nation’s culture, art and landscapes while connecting with diverse audiences. From crafting boards on Chickasaw crafts and wellness to promoting cultural tourism, this launch brought the Chickasaw story to life in a creative and visually engaging way.

  • The Chickasaw Nation needed a social media platform to reach new audiences and share its culture, history and values in an engaging, visual-first format.

  • Pinterest’s focus on inspiration and discovery made it the ideal platform for the Chickasaw Nation to connect with its citizens and a broader audience. By showcasing content like recipes, art and cultural tourism, we could build a meaningful presence that resonates with users.

  • I supported the launch by drafting the proposal and creating initial content, focusing on lifestyle imagery and user-focused visuals. The account quickly gained traction, achieving 3.4k monthly visits and creating a foundation for future growth.

Let’s keep the conversation going.
