Chickasaw Nation Civic Series
Overview
The Chickasaw Nation’s government is a story of resilience, leadership and service to its citizens. For the Civic Series, our goal was to make this story engaging and approachable by taking complex governmental structures and breaking them down into relatable, digestible content.
I helped shape the campaign’s voice, tone and visual identity, creating a foundation for content that educated employees and the public about the 1983 Constitution and the Chickasaw Nation’s Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches. The campaign was designed to be fun, dynamic and informative, ensuring the Chickasaw Nation’s government felt accessible and relevant to all audiences.
-
The Chickasaw Nation needed a creative way to educate employees and the public about its government structure, avoiding the “stuffy” tone often associated with civic education.
-
Government is about people. Presenting it through relatable, engaging content helps audiences connect with its purpose and responsibilities. By leaning into a friendly, approachable tone, we could make complex ideas easy to understand and fun to learn.
-
I contributed to the campaign’s identity by developing headlines, visual ideas and hashtags that brought the Chickasaw government’s story to life.

Let’s keep the conversation going.
